We keep a wide selection of popular items in stock at all times for your immediate flying needs. In stock kites range, on average, from $12.00 to $100 and include easy fliers, three dimensional cellulars, two line sport and stunt kites and specialty kites which actually fly, but, are often used in home decor and interior design. These kites range from inexpensive minis, sizes excellent for small children or six feet across for some real fun in the sun.

We are a qualified seller of Quad, four line, stunt kites such as Revolution or ten, eleven and twelve foot power kites and equipment, however, due to the higher price of these items and the colour combinations available and customer specifications, we prefer to special order these kites. By operating this way, you get exactly the kite of your choice that best meets your needs and budget and it can either be shipped right to your door or you may pick it up at the East Tennessee showroom. What a great reason to drive to the mountains and enjoy the scenery!!

DIAMOND KITES
Diamond kites ARE NOT the easiest kite to fly!! When balanced and made properly, they fly wonderfully, but, most diamond kites are very dependent upon the ratio of size, tail and strength of wind. A kite that flies great one day, may not fly stable on another day with different wind conditions. Sometimes smaller diamonds fly good, but, we find large ones, in strong winds fly best.

We sell many diamond kites, but, when a customer comes to us requesting a kite for a younger child there are several other recommendations we prefer to make that will ensure good times and lots of immediate fun.

In addition to Minis, our in stock diamonds range from 18" across in plain colours to 36" across celtic applique or other patterns.

DELTA KITES and ANIMAL, BUG AND SEA LIFE KITES
Deltas are our first recommendation for easy, reliable fliers. They are a triangle kite with, or without, tails or streamers that are very stable and excellent easy fliers even in low wind. Deltas also come in a popular variety of animal, bug and sea life themes which are either printed or appliqueed.
Deltas come in minis as well as sizes from 32 inches to 12 feet across in a huge variety of patterns and colours. The large Deltas are great for adding "Line Laundry"---all that great wind stuff you can add to your kite string to attract attention when you fly your kite.

CELLULAR KITES
Cellulars are three dimensional kites that resemble snowflakes or mathematical designs. They are fabulous fliers that are not dependent on tails and take off into the air by just rocking and tossing them into the wind.
Since these kites come in all sizes and shapes they are a fabulous flier for children. Small geometric cellulars start 36 inches across, others come in shapes like airplanes, dragons and ships and the biggest geometric kites are 6 feet or more. A lot of pull on these babies!!

BOX KITES, WINGED and GEOMETRIC BOXES AND FRENCH MILITARY KITES
Every kite flyer knows the box kite. Did you know they are still the most stable kite to fly?
Once again, box kites come in all sizes and colour combinations. Winged boxes obviously have wings and geometric boxes are geometric variations of the traditional square box.
The French Military was actually used during the First World War to carry full grown men over the terrain to spy on the enemy. That's a great flyer!!

ROKKAKUS
A Rok is a flat disc kite. They are traditionally thought of as an Asian kite, but, now come in every pattern and design imaginable: cartooned images, anime, prints, patterns and even famous fine art.
Usually starting at 3 to 4 feet, these kites range in sizes as large as 11 feet across. The larger Roks require higher winds, but, look spectacular in the sky.

DRAGON KITES
Rather like a Rokkakus Kite with a long tail, this is another item that began traditionally in Indian and Asian countries. The flat disk at the top is the actual flyer and tails can range from a series of ribbons or streamers to long, long panels that measure as much as 40 feet.
Newer patterns include designs of all kinds through animals, real dragons, octopus and jellyfish and we still have a selection of real traditional screenprinted and hand painted Asian Dragons.

CONVERTIBLE, PARAFOIL, SLED AND POCKET KITES
These are great kites for travel, hiking or for children. They are ripstop nylon kites with no breakable parts and, because they are mainly one or more series of curved fabric pieces and air pockets, they fly in low wind. Even a running child who's not old enough to get a larger kite aloft can have fun with these colourful and charming kites.
Usually in sizes of 36 to 48 inches, these kites come in pockets that you turn inside out to expose the full kite, bags or fanny packs and each comes complete with a handle or spool of string and are ready to fly.

STUNT OR SPORT KITES
Stunt kites come in two line and four line models referred to as Dual Stunt or Quad Stunt Kites.
Once launched and stable in the sky, dual line kites can be manoeuvred to travel in figure eights. Quad kites, on the other hand, will go up, down, diagonally and even dive toward the ground until you "pull the brakes" to stop the kite before it crashes.
Stunt Kites are not difficult to master, but, are definitely not for young children.
It should be noted that in the case of Stunt Kites.......size does NOT matter and you get just as much from a lesser expensive kite!!! You can have as much fun with a less expensive, smaller stunt kite as you can with a larger, more expensive one. Smaller kites are fast and make fast, tight turns. Larger kites require stronger winds, more strength to hold and, because they require more radius to turn because of their size, are slower kites. Both kites give hours of great fun, but, each size gives different challenges with a different price tag.

TRADITIONAL DUAL LINE KITES
Ranging in sizes from 3 feet across to 8 feet across, these kites come in a huge variety of colours and patterns offered by many companies. Dual kites are usually priced complete with kite, string lines and basic handles but there are optional wrist straps you can purchase that make stunt flying more comfortable and enjoyable.
Smaller dual line kites are also available in parafoils packed in fanny packs or shoulder strap cases all set for travel.

TRADITIONAL QUAD LINE and REVOLUTION KITES
Revolution was the first company that made quad line kites. They make several styles, each with a higher speed and degree of difficulty and even make a dual line kite that flies indoors!! Other companies now make dual line kites in various shapes and designs.
USE CAUTION WHEN COMPARING PRICES OF QUAD LINE KITES FROM ONE KITE DEALER TO ANOTHER!! Quad kites can be sold as the kite only, the kite with lines, with handles, with videos and instructions, with none of the above or with all of the above. Be sure you are comparing the same items to each other when comparing prices.

QUAD LINE POWER KITES and THUNDERFOILS
Four line power kites and thunderfoils resemble parachutes, made of high quality ripstop nylon with no breakable parts. Designed for all kinds of traction fun from flying them on foot, with roller blades, snowboarding, skiing on mountains or on the sea to whizzing around the wide open spaces while seated in one of the many land buggys available.
Quads come in sizes from 5 to 12 feet and pack a powerful pull.
HERE'S WHERE YOU REALLY HAVE TO COST COMPARE PRICES PROPERLY!! Quad line kites can be sold alone or with a variety of components. Lines, handles, control bars, winders, backpacks, bags and buggies are all options and optional packages available from various manufacturers.
